Kanazawa Kenrokuen - On of the top three Japanese gardens in the country Kenrokuen is a Japanese garden that has been designated as a rare "cultural property specification garden special scenic spot" in the country. Founded in 1676, the garden features ponds, rivers and rich, natural Japanese garden, making it one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan. In spring, the peach blossoms and cherry blossoms introduce an exuberant ambiance. In summer, the emerging sprouts portray a scene of verdant greenness. In autumn, the red and yellow maple leaves compose the colors of fall. In winter, as the snow falls silently, the land returns to serenity.
